At Kingsley House, we offer a range of nationally accredited and state certified programs that make a positive difference in the communities we serve. Our programs serve individuals of all ages, ranging from six week old infants to senior citizens who are over one hundred years of age.
Since resuming our operations in early October 2005, Kingsley House staff has provided more than 30,000 individuals with essential services and resources to aid in their recovery and healing. Children and families have been linked to the comprehensive array of programs at Kingsley House, as well as other vital programs and services being provided by fellow social and human service organizations throughout Southeast Louisiana.

For over 100 years, Kingsley House has been at the forefront of early education and quality child care in Louisiana. Our nationally accredited Preschool Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide a dynamic, comprehensive array of cognitive, behavioral and social school readiness activities, along with essential health and supportive services for 192 children and their families.

Our Youth Services program provides daily after school educational enrichment, psychosocial skills building, creative arts and recreational activities for youth between the ages of 5 to 17. With an emphasis on cultivating respect for self, others and surroundings, we help kids succeed in school while supporting parents and caregivers while they work.

Kingsley House Family Life Services offers free individual and family counseling by master's level counselors and therapists for persons needing mental health support and assistance throughout 12 parishes in Southeast Louisiana.

The Community and Supportive Services Program provides case management to assist residents with reintegration into the newly developed Columbia Parc at the Bayou District (formerly the St. Benard Public Housing Development)

Our Health Care For All program conducts targeted outreach and engagement activities with families in to connect them to essential resources and services. The program serves 9 parishes and since the hurricanes in 2005, HCFA has assisted thousands of families with Medicaid, LACHIP and Food Stamp enrollment and securing vital documents.

The Adult Services program is open to senior citizens and medically fragile adults. Our participants enjoy stimulating recreational and socialization activities and daily monitoring of health care is provided by our nursing staff. Social workers provide case management services and transportation is offered to and from the facility.

Kingsley House's state-of-the-art Magic Johnson Foundation/HP Technology Center is available, free of charge, for individuals and groups needing access to computers for internet research, word processing and computer skills training.
